500 is an HTTP error code, meaning 'Internal Server Error'. Other HTTP codes include 404 and 418.
500 also claims to be an integer occupying the space between 409 and 501. Most of the international integer community recognises 500's claim. However, 501, 567, 69 and 345 famously do not, with those integers instead recognizing the space that 500 occupies as 501's rightful land. In recent years, with geopolitical tensions in the international community escalating, 500 has faced increasing threats besides the claim of 501, such as the Roman numeral for 500 (D) having much more usage, although usually not in a numerical context, as well as not usually being on currency, despite being a round number and a multiple of 5.
